Mother's Day

Tonight we celebrated Mother's Day at MOPS. Elizabeth Murphy came and gave a great message on Mother's Day. It was so poignant and such a great reminder of what Mother's Day is really about. Some women's groups from Elmbrook had donated wonderful baskets full of goodies for the young women. It was a great suprise to them....as they were abundantly filled with every and anything you can think of that would be special to a mom.

Being a mom is hard. Being a single young mom can be harder. Having a simple night to remind us all that Mother's Day is not about a single day of getting great gifts...but rather a meaningful time to look for and remember Mother's Day moments that happen in every day life.
